Scott joined the Events By Design team shortly after the company’s inception, because he believes wholeheartedly in the concept of clients helping him design the music around their event.  While many DJ’s in the industry have a concept in mind when they meet with their clients, he prefers to hear the client’s vision before helping to guide them through their musical options.   Scott’s experience and easy-going nature allow you to feel comfortable knowing that you are in the hands of a professional that can handle just about any situation.  As an avid music lover, Scott enjoys many genres and can help blend together your musical styles and help you to create the perfect blend for your event.  When he is not DJ’ing, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Alyssa and his dog Riley.

Herbie graduated from Humboldt State University where he received a degree in Communication. Robert Bennett, CTS

Interests: Hobbies include: Remixing all genres of music in my home studio, sound engineering for local talent, camping with my family, boogie boarding with my boys, trying to keep my salt-water reef tank from crashing, and watching action movies

Favorite types of music: New Wave, Progressive, Electronic, Anything 80's, but most of all New Order and Depeche Mode.

 

Jon Krause

Jon is an experienced and professional deejay. He has a strong background in sound production and sound reinforcement that spans more than 25 years. John Gillon

I was born in Napa California, and have lived in Southern California since I was eight years old.  I attended college at Loma Linda University in Riverside and studied business administration.  I have been married for 10 years and have two amazing boys who are 6 and 8 years old.  They keep me very busy.  I enjoy working out, music, snowboarding, and hanging out with my friends and family.  I have been a DJ for over 8 years now and have worked pretty much everywhere in San Diego.  I enjoy most all types of music and can play anything you are looking for.  Follow Me on Twitter.

Greg Brosnan

My interest in music spans three decades. I started playing the Irish tin whistle at the age of 6, subsequently playing a variety of instruments and was later a member of a prep school and college band.

I began working in the hospitality industry at the age of 16.  I spent two years in France specializing as a Chef.  After earning a B.A. in Business Studies in Hotel & Catering Management I moved to the US in 1996.

In 1996– 2001, I worked in catering & sales management positions from with the renowned Hilton & Hyatt hotels in downtown San Francisco. 

In 2001, I was offered the opportunity to work in entertainment through night club promotions for various prominent venues throughout San Francisco. This work allowed me the chance to finally combine my passion for music within my professional career.  I have been DJ’ing since 2001 and am now listed on several recommended vendor lists.

I have had the opportunity to DJ internationally on many occasions, performing in various cities in France, Italy, Brazil, as well as returning annually to my home country of Ireland to perform at a variety of events. This cultural & musical diversity has allowed me to become familiar with a wide range of musical tastes.  

A broad musical knowledge, combined with the ability to anticipate the crowds tastes & requirements, results in professional flexibility and the skill to maintain a full dancefloor.

Having two decades of experience in the Hospitality industry, my mission is to deliver the highest standard of professionalism & commitment from the initial consultation with the client, to the completion of the event.
